On the top of the hill, in a private position, with a wide panoramic view and unique sunsets, is located this typical Tuscan stone farmhouse with annex surrounded by a well-kept and terraced garden and 7.2 hectares of land with about 100 olive trees, woods and arable land. The property is reached by a dirt road of about 3 km, passing vineyards, olive groves and woods.
The property consists of a main house with a living area of approximately 270 sqm on 2 levels with loggia and terraces and a separate annex of 70 sqm. The main house, access from the large courtyard, consists on the first floor of a loggia with the original bread oven, a large living room with fireplace, a double bedroom, a study or a single bedroom and a travertine bathroom with tub and shower. An internal staircase, leads to the lower floor where is a second living room, a large and bright kitchen with dining area and direct access to the terrace and garden, a Carrara marble bathroom with shower, the master bedroom with the original terracotta floor, and few steps below a second large dining room with access to the veranda and garden and a cellar with vaulted terracotta ceilings.
The renovation was carried out in 2000 by local artisans with great care, keeping as much as possible the original materials such as terracotta floors, wooden beams, an original stone washbasin, terracotta vaults and local stone exposed inside some rooms.
Adjacent to the main house is the barn of about 70 square meters on one level which needs to be restored. Ideal to create an independent home for guests.
